The new show will re-introduce 10-year-old Ben Tennyson and feature new and fan-favorite aliens from the initial series. The show kicks off with the adventures of Ben, his cousin Gwen and Grandpa Max as they travel the country during summer vacation. When Ben finds the mysterious Omnitrix, a world of alien superpowers opens up to him.
It's time to introduce Ben to a new generation of kids, according to " Cartoon Network chief content officer Rob Sorcher said in a release announcing the series pickup . Ben 10 has been an overwhelming success story across all media platforms, and we know kids around the world will be eager to see the reinvention of this beloved character.
Here are a few things that I want to see in this new reboot!
1.) A new Omnimatrix
The Omnimatrix, better known as the Omnitrix, was a watch-like device that attached to Ben Tennyson's wrist in the first episode of the series, and is one of the devices that the franchise revolves around.When it recalibrated, the Omnitrix gained a more watch-like shape, a green wristband, became smaller and sleeker, and the face dial became black and green. The inside of the hourglass shape glowed in different colors at certain moments. These colors signify the mode that the Omnitrix was presently in. When Ben is selecting his aliens it rather shows the alien's hologram standing on the core rather than the alien's silhouette.
2.) New Aliens
Ben 10: Aliens Unleashed is the fan-created fourth incarnation of Cartoon Network's Ben 10 franchise created by "Man of Action" (a group consisting of Duncan Rouleau, Joe Casey, Joe Kelly, and Steven T. Seagle).
The series was produced as a "what-if" alternative to Ben 10: Omniverse, which received poor reviews from series creator Omega Omnitrix.
When an old enemy unleashes Ben Tennyson's alien transformations upon the universe in an attempt to destroy it, the hero faces his most dangerous adversary yet: himself.
Armed with the powerful new Alien Assault Vehicles, as well as some new transformations, Ben travels to the Andromeda galaxy with Kevin and Gwen to face a new threat.
3.) Time travel
According to Derrick J. Wyatt;
The reason the original Ben 10,000 came back was because, according to him, Ultimate Ben was a really lame idea.
In the original series, Ben 10,000 appears to favor XLR8 over any other aliens.
The enhanced version of the episode Ben 10,000 reveals that the events that happened when Ben 10,000 was 15 are what caused him to lose his joy of being a hero.
This has, however been shifted to when he was 20.
In the Pop-Up version of Ken 10, Ben 10,000 and Kai married and had two children.
Though Derrick has confirmed in Omniverse, Ben only has Ken.
