Oh, have you not heard? It was my understanding that everyone had heard. No, it's not that bird is the word, but that apparently Seth MacFarlane may be working on a big screen adaptation for his hit animated TV series, Family Guy!

After 14 seasons and 256 episodes of the hit show, the question of a big screen version has obviously been asked before, but it wasn't until this week that MacFarlane gave an almost solid answer on the matter, check it out:

Whoa, whoa, whoa! Talk about excitement!

If Family Guy was to become a film, it would join the ranks of animated TV series such as The Simpsons and Aqua Teen Hunger Force which have also had big screen adaptions in the past.

Of course, Family Guy has received the feature-length treatment before, back in 2005 with the direct-to-DVD Family Guy Presents Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. However, this film was also cut down to three 22-minute episodes and aired way back as part of Season 4, so I would definitely say the time has come for the series to do another feature-length movie again. What do you say?
