"It's time you learn what it means to be a man."

These are the words out of the mech armor donning Dark Knight to the Man of Steel Superman. But what do they mean? Isn't Superman already a man?

The Feeling of Your Own Mortality

I once wrote my opinion regarding how Superman's main weakness should be handled. Go check that out HERE before reading on. If they are doing something similar, and introduce kryptonite as a gradual weakening device for Superman, than wouldn't Batman just need time on his side?

Snyder has already stated that Batman's mech suit doesn't allow him enhanced strength or speed, but rather the ability to endure everything Superman will aim at him for an extended period of time.

There's no question that Batman will receive a more than fair share of damage against the Man of Steel, so if his only chance is to rely on Superman holding back, (as he always does with every opponent) if would make a great deal of sense when he utters the line:

"It's time you learn what it means to be a man."

Also we hear Cavill's Superman pleading to Batman to stay down. That:

"Stay down! If I wanted it, you'd be dead already."

If Batman can survive getting pummeled for a good while, he may just be able to secure victory and show Superman what it's truly like to be a man.
