Since the release of Fallout 4 a month ago, the Internet has been obsessed with all things post-nuclear apocalypse. While the single-player game can only really be played by someone with opposable thumbs, that doesn't mean our canine companions can't also get in on the action.

Although cosplayer Alexis Smith is used to dressing herself up, she recently posted images of her dog Sarge, dressed up as the death-defying sidekick, Dogmeat from Fallout 4.

What would a good Dogmeat costume be without a pair of doggy goggles? You'll also be happy to know that Sarge was given plenty of treats for being a good sport and posing for photos.

For those of you who were wondering, I made this costume beginning to end yesterday all within 5-6 hours (I didn't really keep track of time). Time went by really fast making this because I was watching videos by Markiplier and Jacksepticeye on YouTube. :P
I made it out of EVA foam and odds and ends that I had laying around the house (besides the goggles and bandanna, of course)

If you want to see how it was done, check out this time lapse video of Smith's process of building the costume.
