For the first time in history, Netflix will be working on an Indian content ahead of its most awaited launch in the region.

Netflix Inc. is determined to keep on expanding in the coming times. The company’s robust expansion plans will see the streaming giant to bolster its international market presence as well as its content. The recent big expansions of the company were in the region of Australia and New Zealand. The response was overwhelming for Netflix. It previously set a goal to expand its services in almost all parts of the world by the end of next year. And so far, the internet TV company seems to be on track in achieving that goal.

The number of countries that are in the list to welcome Netflix next year keeps on increasing with time. It was reported earlier that the company has added India to its global expansion list of 2016 and has already started working to make an impressive mark on the Indian viewers prior to its expansion. For that matter, the streaming service provider decided to work on an Indian content for the first time in the history in order to show its devotion towards the Indian viewers. It was a long demand from the viewers to see Netflix in their region.

Netflix has announced to be working on an Indian Bollywood crime movie that it will be showing on its platform to the viewers by the end of this year. The company will be creating a series from a cult Indian movie prior to its launch in India next year. As of now, the company is easily dominating the TV industry and no one can come close to compete it regardless of anything. Despite of holding such a big lead, the company is not stopping its expansion plan and further decides to strengthen its dominance in the TV world.

In the United States, more than 51 percent of the viewers prefer Netflix over any other platform for streaming purposes. Furthermore, the company now provides services to more than 70 million viewers in almost 70 or more countries but according to its objective, this is not good enough. The expansion plan might become more vigorous in the coming times as it looks forward to spreading its services throughout the world.

A sources suggests, “Gangs of Wasseypur is a crime movie that was shot in two parts, before its commercial release in India. It deals with the power struggle between opposing families of the coal mafia in Dhanbad, Jharkhand. The film’s producer, Anurag Kashyap, indicated in an interview that digital distribution can play a role in growing a movie’s audience, after its theatrical launch.”
