I am not going to lie, I am a huge fan of the Hunger Games. I have read all the books and have enjoyed them numerous times. Mockingjay was my favorite book and I expected big hype from it. Mockingjay Part 1 was slow, but that was exactly how the book went and it wasn't a direct parallel picture to the book, but it certainly gave me that image of what Katiness and the districts were undergoing, that is exactly what I liked about it. Then Part 2 came along and I had made some assumptions; First, that it was going to be just as slow as part 1 and Second, that it wasn't going to follow the book entirely. I was worried they weren't going to kill Prim or the children and that President Coin was going to live (God, I hated that bitch), but I must give them congrats that they didn't do that and ruin the entire movie for me. Overall it was a good book, a good movie, but I do believe it was a bit overrated and didn't exactly give me the visual ending I expected. In other words it was a slight disappointment. So in this case I give it 6.5 stars, but that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the movie. It only means I didn't enjoy the way in which they portrayed aspects of it.
