Since the 90's our favorite Leprechaun has been on one strange quest to find his precious pot of gold. From Las Vegas, to outer space, to the hood, Leprechaun has made his mark, claiming his territory, and stacking up the bodies. Let's take a look at his dark past.
In the first "Leprechaun" (1993), Leprechaun gets his first awakening when a greedy drunk tries to get away with his pot of gold. Fast forward to the "present day" in Nowhere, North Dakota (that was sarcasm in case you haven't noticed), here we are with "3 guys that paint", and...who is that? Is that Jeniffer Aniston??? Such a surprise when you look at most of the films she's played in, which happens to be soppy love/romance movies. No offense, Jen. If there's any constellation, at least she's holding a mean-looking shotgun. Pretty impressive.
In "Leprechaun 2" (1994), Leprecaun is 1,000 years old! Man, is that old. Anyway, on his 1,000th birthday, he can claim his bride. But getting a bride won't be easy for poor Leprechaun. Besides being a cold-hearted killer, you also need a drastic makeover. No offense, Leppy. But, who is to save the damsel in distress? Her whimp of a boyfriend and his alcoholic uncle. Good luck with that one.
"Leprechaun 3: Las Vegas" (1995). Las Vegas, here we come! A peddler sales an antique Leprechaun to a pawn shop owner, and he gives the owner specific instructions. Do not take off the medallion! And...what does the pawn shop owner do? He takes off the medallion. The damn medallion! Now old Leppy is free yet again to roam around and cause chaos. But this time, he goes to Las Vegas. Watch out Vegas. Leprechaun is here to take your gold. All of it.
"Leprechaun 4: In Space" (1996). So, let me get this straight. We go from Las Vegas to Space all in one year? My, Leppy travels fast for his gold. He wastes no time getting what he wants. Here, we have a team of commandos to fight off the leprechaun. But wait...does Leppy have a new woman? A princess as a matter of fact. How fancy. Don't know what she sees in him besides his gold and his powers. But to each their own. I guess.
"Leprechaun in the Hood" (2000). Watch out now! Leprechaun done came to the hood! He's big. He mean. He's green. Well, he's always been green. I just wanted to say that. And who is the star guest here? Ice T. Sorry, Ice. You about to get served all up and down the streets. Better hold on to that flute as long as you can.
"Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood" (2003). I guess Leppy hasn't had enough of the hood. Here we are in a whole new different hood and whole new different clique. "What's up my ninjas?"
