The movie starts with the quote "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times" and kind of sums up the whole film. The narration of the film is so fluent that the instantaneous jump between the best of times and the worst of times is done swiftly with likable characters all around the canvas. The film takes you through the transformation of a teenage boy from a shady character who considers the whole world as distraction, wanting some alone time to a person who is ready to explore real world.
Each characters are so well written that you just can't get enough of every frame and the casting is spot-on to add the cherry on the top. Watch out for Nick Offerman who gives a performance to remember and Jon Bernthal just keep on surprising us with every other performance.
Although the film's first look could show lots of resemblance to The Fault in Our Stars it will probably make shed more tears than the latter.
Watch the film for its witty scenarios and humorously relatable characters and for its straight forward climax.
