I love the Jurassic Park trilogy and Jurassic World. They are based on an amazingly well thought out concept and are well written and directed. However, I really don't want to see Hollywood greed ruin the franchise.

Jurassic World was one of many franchises continued this year. So far it's done better than Marvel's [The Avengers: Age Of Ultron](tag:293035), Furious 7, Pixar's Inside Out and Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 (I mean how can they compete when Katniss doesn't even have a LEGO mini-figure yet?). So, it's true that Jurassic World is a huge box-office hit, as well as a merchandising success for Universal. But will they take it too far, or can they conclude the franchise on a high note?

The Jurassic franchise isn't quite like Star Wars, or Marvel, or DC, or even Star Trek. It's based in a real world setting and is focused on a specific premise: scientists genetically recreating dinosaurs. This makes for scary, exciting, compelling plot lines and the real world setting adds a feeling of reality which plays with your emotions in very fun ways. But at the same time, it's limited. At a certain point, one of two things will have to happen:

Option 1: The franchise will have to move away from dinosaurs.

Option 2: The franchise will have to start recycling plot lines over and over.

As a fan of the franchise, let me say that neither of these can happen! I would rather have 6 or 7 movies and a conclusive ending than 6 great movies and 14 gradually worsening movies. In other words, I want Jurassic to end on a high note.

How can this be done?

I want to see Jurassic World 2 begin a huge, two movie event where every character involved over the past movies (except for the Kirby family, specifically the parents) returns and must put their collective minds together to finish all of this, once and for all.

Universal will have to do this eventually. All I'm asking is that they do it before the audience loses interest. Please Universal, make this franchise one to remember. Don't be greedy like Donald the lawyer. We all know what happened to him.
