Now I'm a rather new fan to the Rocky series, but after watching all the films it has easily become one of my favorite franchises of all time! So here's a list of how I'd rank the all the movies that Rocky has made an appearance in, so yes, I will include Creed.

7. Rocky V

Oh god, this movie is bad. Not just bad, IT'S GARBAGE. This whole movie is just a mess. Tommy Gunn is probably the worst movie character of all time, Rocky's son is so annoying, and then there's this thing with Rocky having brain damage which is so annoying. The one thing that I liked about this film is that Rocky went back to his old personality from I and II, which is great. If you were to watch a Rocky marathon, just skip this one.

6. Rocky IV

This is how the Cold War really ended!
This is how the Cold War really ended!

Now that we're out of the bad Rocky movies, we get to Rocky IV which is a really fun movie to watch with some cheesy 80's goodness. This movie is jam packed with montage after montage with a final act which us Rocky fans believe truly ended the Cold War. Now this movie may not be a great movie quality-wise, but still fun to watch with friends and have a good time!

5. Rocky Balboa

Now I like to call this movie, 'Rocky VI: Rocky Remembers the First Movie' because most of this movie is just flashbacks to the first movie! But besides that, it's a touching story with Rocky trying to deal with old age and his desire with wanting to get back in the ring for the last time.

4. Rocky II

The best thing about this movie is watching Rocky try to deal with his fame after the first match with Apollo Creed. I don't know what it is about this film, it just feels, off. Maybe I have to watch it again, but in terms of quality, it just didn't live up to the first one for me.

3. Rocky III

Rocky and Apollo, once rivals now friends.

Now this was the first movie in the Rocky franchise were it wasn't so serious all the time, it's a really fun movie! The villain of Clubber Lang is great, because, ya know, Mr. T is the best. Also, it was really cool to have Apollo train Rocky after the super sad death of Mickey. Hell, you even get to see Rocky fight Hulk Hogan (aka Sugarlips) in the very beginning, which was hilarious!

2. Creed

This is one of the best movies of 2015. I laughed. I cried. I cheered. I got angry. Never before has a movie made me express all these emotions like this before. After this movie, I felt like I could accomplish anything. The story is so great, the directing is amazing, and the movie feels just like Rocky I. I love Michael B. Jordan as Adonis Creed and I cannot wait to see more of him in the future. Sylvester Stallone as Rocky in this movie is legendary. I swear to god if this dude doesn't get any sort of Oscar recognition or something like that, I'll riot.

Some say you can see you whole life from up here...
Some say you can see you whole life from up here...

Honestly, how could you not put this as #1? It's the classic story of the underdog and it's not only the best Rocky film, but one of my favorite movies of all-time. It's a classic movie and if you haven't seen it, why are you even reading this? Because of this movie, Rocky Balboa my favorite movie character of all time because he's a man of the people, and how could you not respect and look up to that? I cannot stress enough how good of a movie this is, every time I watch this movie, I always think to myself "this is why movies are made."

Now hopefully I won't get as much hate for this ranking as I did the Star Wars one, so please, let me know in the comments how you would rank all the Rocky films!
