The war between Trekkies and Star Wars fans is officially over. First, the director of the last two 'Star Trek' movies directed 'The Force Awakens' and now, word on the web is that the trailer for the third movie is attached to the latest entry in the 'Star Wars' saga.

Man, 'The Force Awakens' has a pretty huge pre-show lineup, so far 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice', '[Captain America: Civil War](tag:994409)', 'The Jungle Book', 'X-Men: Apocalypse', 'The Huntsman: Winter's War', 'Finding Dory', AND 'Independence Day: Resurgence' are all having their trailers shown to us on December 18. That list may be shorter if, like me, you're going to see it in IMAX but, still, that's going to be one hellova of a theatrical experience.

To top of the excitement, a new TV spot just dropped, and it shows that Han still has a sense of humour.

Han, you may be a stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerfherder, but it's nice to see you back in action.

Anyway, it looks just about like every other trailer/TV spot we've seen so far so no spoilers here. Though I still get goosebumps every time I hear the theme.

It's exciting!
