Although zombie-themed shows and movies are far from novel these days, the coming-of-age zombie comedy Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse still had some tricks up its sleeves.

Starring Tye Sheridan, Joey Morgan, Logan Miller, Sarah Dumont and David Koechner, Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse took the undead to a whole new level. The movie earned itself a hard R-rating, but when you see why it might not be such a shock.

This extended clip from the movie shows just why Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse deserved its rating. Maybe it's wrong, but I loved it.

Grabbing a zombie's penis while hanging from a window might not be considered high-brow comedy, but it definitely had me laughing.

Here's the official premise of the film:

Three scouts and lifelong friends join forces with one badass cocktail waitress to become the world’s most unlikely team of heroes. When their peaceful town is ravaged by a zombie invasion, they’ll fight for the badge of a lifetime and put their scouting skills to the test to save mankind from the undead.

'Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse' is currently available on streaming, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
