In the late '90s, Disney changed our perception of Tarzan forever by throwing us a klutzy take on the infamous King of the Jungle. Oh yes, as George swung into view on a vine, failing to narrowly avoid that tree, we immediately fell in love with his good-natured goofiness and stunted intellect.
With George and his bumbling gang of elephants and chimps, we embarked on one of the best family movies of the decade. If you need reminding of the ridiculous shenanigans, or to just remind yourself of that catchy theme tune ("George, George, George of the Jungle, watch out for that tree!"), here's the trailer:
And since it's coming up to almost two decades since the savage ape man graced our screens, let's take a look at what some of the actors involved have been up to since:

You can't deny that the cast of Tarzan-inspired George of the Jungle have come a very long way since their roles in Disney's 1997 movie.
And now it seems a new alpha is to step into the midst and take George's place as the King of the Jungle. Here's the epic teaser for the upcoming The Legend of Tarzan, starring a deliciously half-naked Alexander Skarsgård and a disheveled Margot Robbie as his Jane:
