Hey Trump, what's good?

In a recent interview with Billboard magazine, Nicki Minaj was asked about her feelings towards presidential candidate Donald Trump. The rapper gave a surprising reply, considering her lyrics often have a very political and liberal approach.

"There are points he has made that may not have been so horrible if his approach wasn’t so childish. But in terms of entertainment -- I think he’s hilarious. I wish they could just film him running for president. That’s the ultimate reality show."

The comment represent what many people think when they hear about Trump. It's just entertainment, a joke we should all laugh at. But like Hillary Clinton recently said, it's not funny anymore. Donald Trump is a racist old white guy who is dangerously close to becoming the next president of the United States.

After his recent suggestion of banning all Muslims from entering the US it became evidently clear that Donald Trump is bigotry personified. But we shouldn't laugh at him anymore. We are better than that, and I think Hillary phrased it best:

"[...] I think everybody, and especially the Republicans need to stand up and really say, 'enough, you’ve gone too far, that’s not who we are, that’s not the kind of country that we believe we are, and we’re just not gonna tolerate it."

According to Billboard magazine the interview with Nicki was conducted prior to Trump's racist suggestion, so it is unclear how she feels about him now. When asked about Hillary Clinton she said that she 'supported her as a woman', and that she is inspirational.

"[...] She has been brave and weathered the storm. And continued being a boss. That’s something that every woman should feel inspired by, no matter if you’re voting for her or not."
