NetherRealm Studios, along with Warner Bros., confirmed that DLC Pack 2 will include two fighters from the "Mortal Kombat" series and two guest movie characters.
Joining "Mortal Kombat X" from "Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance" is Bo Rai Cho, the alcoholic martial arts master whose main fighting style is the Drunken Fist. Another new fighter, Tri-Borg, is a cyborg character based on "Mortal Kombat" fighters Sektor, Robot Smoke, and Cyrax.
From the realm of Hollywood horror movies comes Leatherface and Xenomorph. Leatherface is the chainsaw-wielding villainous character from the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" franchise while Xenomorph is the deadly extraterrestrial endoparasitoid creature from the "Alien" franchise. For "Mortal Kombat X," Xenomorph will have traces of Baraka's DNA, giving the character sword-like armblades.
A trailer showing the four new fighters has been released, with Leatherface leading the pack. NetherWorld Studios announced that the "Mortal Kombat X" DLC Pack 2 will be released in early 2016. No price for the "Kombat" DLC Pack 2 was given.
WHO IS KHROME
A one-off mistake at the factory over at Pop Cultre Shock Collectibles, Inc creates "Khrome" (seen below and above) instead of Smoke as intended. Pretty interesting accident, right? Unfortunately this one of a kind piece won't be for sale but has been offered to Mortal Kombat father, Ed Boon!
In Mortal Kombat 9 there’s a Mirror Realm in the Challenge Tower 287. Which Quan Chi is unaware of. So he says “What sorcery is this?” and Mirror Quan Chi replies “I was pondering that myself!”
So how would it be if everything was the opposite in "Mirror Realm". A mirror stage where the floor is glass and eventually shatters, taking the brawl elsewhere. Or thin sheets of metal like a shanty town. Kia, Jataaka and Sareena as Khrome with liquid metal abilities but use them differently for variations.
In Mortal Kombat X, Khrome was teased to us by a kombat kard background.
It was called, "Fooled". You could earn it if you complete the April Fools Day tower. Now that's a little harsh to tease us like that. Cause since Khrome came out. Fans have been wanting to see Khrome in Mortal Kombat. Maybe DLC in Mortal Kombat X or in the new Mortal Kombat 11.
Not much is known about him, except this...
FIGHTING STYLE: Iron Fist & Capoeira
BIRTH REALM: Mirror Realm
ABILITIES: Khrome should be capable of altering his form and appearance. He shouldn’t be issued with any weapons but capable of fashioning any solid metal form. Such as knives and stabbing weapons (like the T-1000 from Terminator 2 Judgement Day). Khrome should not, however, form any complex systems which may have had moving parts or chemicals. Like guns or explosives. He will have liquid metal abilities to form a shield as well. Another ability Khrome will have is Magnetism (like Marvel's Magneto). Now all these abilities will be in a Mortal Kombat style.
Let's make it happen...
Not much is said if Khrome will be DLC for Mortal Kombat X or in the new Mortal Kombat 11. Yet, if we keep asking and wanting Khrome in Mortal Kombat. We might just get him. So let NetherRealm Studio (Twitter and Facebook Page) and Ed Boon (Twitter) know you want Khrome in Mortal Kombat. #Khrome4MK
