Rose Siggins, the actress best known for her portrayal of Legless Suzi on 'American Horror Story: Freak Show,' has sadly passed away at the young age of 43.
A fan favorite of the fourth season of the FX show, Rose Siggins has sadly passed away in a Denver area hospital early on Saturday morning.
TMZ has reported that the mother of two had undergone kidney stone surgery before subsequently developing an infection. With the announcement of the tragic news, tributes began pouring in from all across the world, including from many of her co-stars that worked with her on AHS.
A brilliant addition to the American Horror Story family, Siggins was born with a rare genetic condition which causes abnormal fetal development of the lower spine, resulting in the amputation of her legs at a young age.
However, this didn't stop Siggins from achieving her goals in life. Whether it be acting in the hit TV show American Horror Story or starting a family, Siggins lived life to the fullest. Speaking to the Huffington Post back in 2012, Siggins showed off her badass personality.
"A lot of people with disabilities feel that life owes them something, and I was raised in a way that no one owes you a dime. The world doesn’t owe you anything.
My personal opinion is, get up and go for it."
