The Season 6 of Game of Thrones is just few months away and personally speaking, I can’t wait more to find out how the show will start after some challenging twists and turns at the Season 5 finale.
Well the greatest thing about Game of Thrones Season 6 is that the series is entering into undiscovered territory for pretty much the first time.
We literally have no idea how the series is going to play out because the book, The Winds of Winter, isn’t released yet but before Game of Thrones Season 6 Premiere, it will be launched. So we don’t have any pre-existing template on which the new Season is based.
But that doesn’t mean we should also ignore promotional teasers and spoilers for Season 6 of GOT. They even speak more. That’s why I come with Top 5 things you should know about Game of Thrones Season 6.
5 Things to Know about Game of Thrones Season 6
1. Jon Snow is Back
It’s still a mystery whether Jon Snow will be returning in upcoming season or not. Fans are continuously asking the same question “Is Jon Snow Alive or Dead?” He may have survived after fatal stabbing at the end of Season 5, or may be set to return in flashbacks or as some form of apparition—only the cast and writers know this, and they’re keeping it covered.
2. Bran Stark in Season 6
It has confirmed that Brandon Stark, who was completely disappeared in season 5, will be back when the show returns, presumably astride his lumbering, monosyllabic but loveable human wheelchair Hodor. It will be super exciting to watch his strange powers.
3. Ian McShane has joined the series
The talented actor Ian McShane (of Deadwood fame) will be seen in the series in a guest role. He will be playing some part in the new season but what it is, is still unrevealed. He stated he will be “responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you’re never going to see again.” Now the question is: “who is he going to resurrect?”
4. Arya’s Adventure
Arya, indeed she’s one of the finest characters in the show and that’s why it would be controversial to say she hasn’t really played an enormous role yet?
But when it comes to some major issues, she’s assumed to have died, and therefore hasn’t really made any impact on the brewing storm in Westeros. Now the question is: will she develop in time to be a prominent force against the real threat? The White Walkers. We will love it actually!
5. The White Walker Moment
The dragons and White Walkers are both incredibly powerful and we only now watching what they can do, yet we don’t know their potential, their end goal, or their impact on the final story. And this season I strongly believe that Thrones is going to pull off something completely insane for the White Walkers’ ‘moment’.
Game of Thrones Season 6 premieres in April 2016.
