"I'm so scared, this guy means to turn me into an animal or something..."
If you watched the 2014 movie Tusk, you know, the one where the protagonist is drugged and then sewn into a walrus costume made of human skin, then chances are your interests were piqued as to what a whole bunch of animals would look like with humanistic attributes.
Luckily (for everyone else) you don't have to explore these deranged musings IRL, because Brooklyn based artist Kate Clark has done it for you. Using the art form of taxidermy, Clark has experimented with merging animal and human characteristics to explore our interaction with nature.
The result? Well, as you can imagine, it's pretty damn creepy. Surreal and beautiful too of course, but undeniably disturbing. Take a look for yourself below:
