If you're reading this you have access to the internet, and being on the internet I don't need to tell you that the Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens premiere happened in LA last night. You already know. It's everywhere. You've already had that miniature freakout moment of seeing something on Facebook that looked like a potential spoiler, but wasn't, but totally could have been.

Anyway, whilst reviews are embargoed until Wednesday, the hoard of celebs present at the premiere who got to watch the movie last night did share their reactions via the medium of Twitter, and a few also dropped some minor (non-plot specific) spoilers, so read on if you're curiosity is piqued.

The Office star Rainn Wilson chimed in early...

Of course he loved it, this man has geek culture in his DNA. Other celebs who had glowing praise after their first watch of the film included the multi-talented Elizabeth Banks and comedic actor Patton Oswalt...

But what does it mean? Is Oswalt referring to the way the final shot looks aesthetically, or some kind of visual reveal or epic cliffhanger that sets up Star Wars Episode VIII? Meanwhile, Billy Dee Williams (AKA the lovable rogue Lando Calrissian) spoke about the prospect of resuming his legendary role in the near future...

But perhaps the most "spoilerish" tweet of all came from LA Times writer Steven Zeitchik, who pretty much outrightly stated which cast member takes the honour of being the "main" protagonist of The Force Awakens...

Slightly surprising, right? Most people had assumed Finn and Rey were pretty much on equal screentime as our two new heroes, but Zeitchik reckons Han Solo is more prominent than the new Jedi. And what about Poe Dameron?

Doesn't sound like JJ Abrams has fallen into the familiar trap of making the film too dark for purposes of critical credibility either...

Music to the ears of every Star Wars fan. Oh, and guess who else watched the movie? Only George Lucas, the man who started it all - even if he has been a little critical of the way his time with the saga came to an end...

Fans of Gwendoline Christie's Captain Phasma should check out this tweet from somewhat ominous tweet from film writer Devin Faraci...

And the all-important question...

How does The Force Awakens stack up against the original trilogy? That seems to be the big question on everybody's lips right now, and a few of the lucky souls in attendance last night chimed in with a snap verdict on Star Wars 7...

So there you go. A bunch of celebs offered their initial thoughts on Episode 7: The Force Awakens, and it was nothing but love, appreciation and pant-wetting positivity. Not that surprising, but pretty encouraging for the rest of us who have to wait a whole 36 more hours to watch the movie for ourselves.
