The X-Men: Apocalypse trailer is quite explosive and amazingly awesome but it contains something potentially causing conflict or even widespread anger among the Hindu community around the world and especially in India. During the starting the main villain Apocalypse says a dialogue which goes I’ve been called many things over many lifetimes, Ram, Krishna….. While that makes the line powerfully influential, some of the people who belong to the Hindu community might find it offensive or even insulting to these God figures and might demand an apology from the makers including the line be cut from the movie if it really means what it looks like (the villian Apocalypse compares himself to Hindu Gods Ram and Krishna). While such a conflict is something a studio doesn’t want at all, the religious intolerance in India might affect the movie among some of the moviegoers belonging to the Hindu faith. The studio will not be affected financially though as India is not one of the big markets for Hollywood but no studio wants a negative popularity from anywhere in the world.
