Husband. Father. Gamer. Cinema Lover. Mix it all together, and there I am. I love all things pop-culture and coffee; but coffee is the best.

Twas the night before deadlines, when all through the net
Not a troll was stirring, with even the slightest of fret.
The writing was finished by the computer’s faint glow.
In hopes that the staff soon would be free to go.

The fans were wrapped up in their favorite geek threads
While visions of Lightsabers danced in their heads.
Alisha
in her yoga pants, and Kat with a cupcake,
Had just cleared the office for a short winter’s break.

When out on the web there arose such a blaring,
I sprang from my couch, to see what was stirring
Away to my screen, I flew like The Flash
Logged in with a fervor and scanned through the cache.

The newest of trailers has just graced my screen
Gave the newest of insight to rumor machine
When, suddenly a brilliant idea strikes me
An article must be written, and written with glee.

With a flurry of words, so lively and quick
I knew in a moment it must be so slick.
This content would bring a smile to my MPU Advisor
And then, I realize with a shock, that the staff was there no more.

On Julian! On Bridget! Now, Andrew and Kristin!
Hey Dana and Julian-Sebastian! Oh Ben and Eileen!
You’re gone for a break! And I can’t get your input!
Oh how I wish it was the New Year, so my words could take root.

As Deadpool rumors rise and Star Trek spoilers leak,
When the Marvel vs. DC debate rages among the geek
Onward to Moviepilot the faithful few ventured to see
What new joys would be there to find and bring pure glee.

And then, in a blur, we heard through a credible source
That surely soon our lives would be enriched by The Force.
The continuation of the Jedi story has been released
And happily our faith in J.J. Abrams has happily increased.

Our joy in this season of Bale and Dicaprio
This time of great movies from McCay to Tarantino
Leaves us all wishing for a few extra hours or three
To possibly see our beloved Daisy Ridley.

Whatever the sensation that we feel
We know that there is one place we can all squeal
Filled with joy in our hearts and smiles on our faces
Scrolling through the endless articles written in bunches.

Sitting in our jammies, we continue our adventure
Through the pages of content shared by another friendly author
Finding the newest theory or rumor fills us with mirth
In this the happiest of holiday seasons on Earth.

Before we close our computers for the season
We try to capture all the feelings that remain unbroken
Thanks to the gracious writers who add the spoiler warning
At the beginning of their articles that we are scrolling.

Not a word was uttered as we give thanks to all the work
That our faithful team at Moviepilot put in everyday with a smirk
Because ultimately they all are geeks just like us
And even though the trolls will return with a fuss

They all spend their days bringing us the best site;
A collection and collaboration of fans and freaks who love to write
A place that we can all call our home, and for that we all wish to say
With all of our might and all of our love: Enjoy your Holiday!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for everything that you do for us creators. You truly are the best support that any of us could have asked for, and I'm sure that every other creator would agree that we love you all and hope you are able to enjoy time with friends and family and take a break and refresh before the new year begins.

**Disclaimer** Alisha, yoga pants were the first thing that popped into my head because that's one of the most recent status I remember reading on Facebook. Kat, by no way do I assume you walk around with a cupcake, but it worked as a rhyme and I hope you laughed.
