Absolutely no spoilers for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' lie ahead, just some Christmas cheer from Mark Hamill himself!

You might think that this week's launch of Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens would leave our favorite stars from a galaxy far, far away all tied up with interviews and fans. However, never the contemporary, Mark Hamill has chosen to spend his moment of triumph helping the people who will benefit most from his presence. Search your feelings... you know it to be true!

Mark Hamill – also known as Trickster from The Flash, The Joker from various Batman adaptations and of course, the legendary Luke Skywalker from Star Wars – has chosen to bring a very merry Christmas to the children of L.A. Children's Hospital.

Have a look at Mark Hamill at the hospital. Seriously... all the feels.

I'll be the first to admit that I'm a huge fan of Mark Hamill's work, he's a talented actor who's been gifted with some great roles. However, this act of charity is truly beautiful: when he could and should be celebrating after finishing his first Star Wars movie in 30 years, Hamill has decided to instead pay tribute to his littlest fans.

Arriving with an entourage of Star Wars cronies, including a fantastic looking R2-D2, Darth Vader, and a swarm of Stormtroopers, Mark Hamill toured the hospital making children smile and debunking the notion that he would ever turn to the dark side!

What could be better than bringing Christmas cheer to those in need, especially the younglings who may have to spend the holidays in a hospital bed?

Credit to Mark Hamill who used the hype for Star Wars: The Force Awakens as a means of spreading joy this holiday season. Staff, patients and one happy dog flocked to his side, delighted at the presence of Luke Skywalker himself.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens premieres tonight and tomorrow across the globe, so as we loyal – and frighteningly excited – fans prepare to meet our destiny, just remember to do as Hamill has done and lend a hand to those in need.
