It's easy to just think of Stormtroopers as just a bunch of faceless drones, doing the violent grunt work on the side of the Galactic Empire, however one fan made film might soon change your opinion (if [Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens](tag:711158) doesn't get there first, that is!).

Director Michael Hurst has put together a four minute film titled The Empire Falls which seeks to show viewers the truth about the gritty and violent Battle of Endor, which featured in Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi. Take a look at the video below:

Pretty awesome right? Definitely made me think a little bit more about the guys in the white masks. Speaking to Jo Blo, Hurst had this to say about this film:

The Empire Falls is Star Wars told in the gritty, violent style of Blackhawk Down. My brother Andy and I did it just for fun and we hope our fellow Star Wars fans enjoy seeing the story we all know and love from a very different point of view!

I don't know about you, but I definitely did. And can I just add that those Ewoks look violent as all hell!
