He may have played Bayside High's goody two-shoes in Saved By the Bell, but Dustin Diamond has been plagued by scandal and crime throughout his real life.
On Christmas Day last year, Diamond got into a fight at a Wisconsin bar where he ended up stabbing a man. He was allegedly trying to protect his girlfriend with a pocketknife. However, in June of this year, he was convicted of disorderly conduct and carrying a concealed weapon, and now he's set to serve his time.
After withdrawing his appeal, Diamond will begin his four-month sentence in January
The former child star will begin his sentence on January 15, and he still has the possibility of work release. At his sentencing earlier this year, Diamond had this to say:
"I sincerely apologize to everyone involved. This was the single most terrifying experience of my life … This is all I've been able to think about for the last six months."
Well, at least he'll be able to spend the holidays at home before serving his 120 days in jail. No one wants to see their festivities screech to a halt.
