Baahubali: This multilingual mega budget film has been in the talks all over the world for its exceptional success and the much anticipated sequel, it has broken many records including the one set by the highest grossing star Shah Rukh Khan. The profits ripped through the 44.97 crore mark with ease establishing its foothold at Rs 50 crores on the first day itself. This movie comes in at the top of the list as this Movie truly deserves some credit for raising the standard of action, effects, sets and even cinematography in India.
Bajrangi Bhaijaan: The Film was thoughtfully made by Kabir Khan to be enjoyed by the whole family together, as promised by the star Salman Khan he now makes light heart stories into mega films earning more than 300 crores. This film has kept the competition far away by earning Rs.183 crores in the first seven days from the release.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo: Yet another film from the people’s beloved actor Salman Khan, this movie was his ninth movie to cross the 100 crores mark. Grossing a staggering 172 crores in the first eight days. The film is about a family relationship, family values and Salman is playing the protagonist named "Prem" and the movie is rich with music and designer sets.
ABCD2: This movie was bigger hit than its first part and the magic Created by Prabhu Deva and Remo could be easily be seen coming through. And the Hard work of the actors turned dancers paid quite well when the movie made 71.78 crores in the first week. It also marks a big success for the stars Shraddha Kapoor and Varun Dhawan.
Tanu Weds Manu Returns: This movie was a sequel to the original "Tanu Weds Manu", and was made fanatically by continuing the story a few years after their marriage where the last movie had ended. It broke quite a few box office records and over delivered the excepted revenue by grossing Rs 70 crores in the first seven days of the release. All credits goes to the Kangana Ranaut acting skills and the one liners of the movies which will leave you in rolling in the floors laughing.
