I was going to write about this a while ago, but when Star Wars Battlefront III or just [Star Wars: Battlefront](tag:2684021), whatever you wanna call it was released, I backed off. I wanted to see what the game had to offer before I talked about this game. I actually do own the new game on PS4. I like it a lot. No this is not something in the works, this is an idea I came up with when I was in sixth grade. Back then this would have been out for the XBOX 360, PS3, and PC. Now, it would be on next gen consoles. I had a title for the game of course. Here it is:
Star Wars Battlefront: Clone Wars
I remember this day! Being so young and riddled with ideas for this game. Star Wars Battlefronts I & II, Star Wars Republic Commando, Star Wars the Clone Wars: Republic Heroes, Halo: Reach, and Halo 3: ODST are the games I used as inspiration for this game.
The game would have a single player campaign. The story would be anthology. You'd play in gaps between seasons and during seasons. That way, in the campaign you can play as fan favorites who were killed off in the story mode. The story wouldn't follow any one clone trooper. It would be a lengthy game. 18 missions so Call of Duty length. You would play as clones such as Captain Rex and Commander Cody. Here is the difference between this game and Star Wars: Republic Commando, in this game you are actually fighting alongside Jedi just like in the show. However, there will be times when you are without Jedi, also like in the show. They've fought together.
And they die together...
One of the most powerful moments in the show I think.
Here's another clip
Star Wars the Clone Wars Republic Heroes
The above images were just to give you and idea of what the campaign could be like.
Multiplayer in any game simply isn't as fun when you can't customize. I know I'm not the only clone trooper lover out there. Kamino would be where you would customize your clone. There are is a plethora of helmets and armor pieces for your trooper since this game will span the whole Clone Wars.
I'm sure there's a few helmets I'm missing, but you see above you the Phase I and Phase II armor sets. This customization would drive fans insane!
Change color schemes, voice, accessories, and loadouts.
I would have these difficulties (In comparison to Call of Duty and Halo):
- Shiny (Recruit and Easy)
- Rookie (Regular and Normal)
- Commando (Hardened and Heroic)
- ARC Trooper (Veteran and Legendary)
Just like in Halo, Achievements and Trophies get you armor.
I love this picture! I think a loading screen is in order! Like seriously though! Anyway, I think Star Wars should have it's own two-four player co-op like Call of Duty's Special Ops or Halo 4's Spartan Ops. Unlike the single player story mode, this mode will allow you and a friend to tackle challenges in a mini story. Your multiplayer clone would be the one you play as here. Below, I have two clips of two man attacks.
This co-op is meant for old fashioned, on the couch with pizza and root beer, sleepover all weekend, kind of co-op. That's the kind of game the old Battlefront was. That's would my idea of this new co-op would be.
I'll show you the menus for the Battlefront games. There must be air combat in this game!
I ain't even gon lie, I would have to say the first one is my favorite.
The sequel changed the game with Assault
A mode where you can play as all Jedi or bonus characters such as Han Solo or Boba Fett. Cad Bane, Aura Sing, and Embo would be those characters for the Clone Wars era.
These are the multiplayer modes in the new game.
Gameplay from each game will be displayed at the bottom.
I think LucasArts and Electronic Arts are perfectly capable of making this game. I personally think DICE should stay away from this Battlefront game.
These guys were in the fourth season of Star Wars the Clone Wars. A civil war was taking place on the planet Umbara.
Wow ._. I poured hours into this and it's only two minutes... What do you think though? And may the Force be with you.
