For those of you still playing Fallout 4 now that the dust and excitement have both settled, I bring you word of a newly found perk that will make you more ridiculously powerful than you could possibly dream of.
As you can imagine Fallout 4's companion perks were originally planned by Bethesda to give your sole survivors a teeny, tiny permanent boost to their overall stats.
But in yet another tale of FO4 being hilariously broken, there is one particular companion whose boost, when you've fully maxed out the relationship, renders you a veritable God of Destruction. Thanks, MacCready!
When "idolized" by him, the goateed sniper, whom you meet in The Third Rail bar in Goodneighbor, gives you a perk named 'Killshot'. The perk boosts the possibility of gaining a 20% chance of a fatal headshot in V.A.T.S.
But with FO4 being the beautiful mess it is, currently the perk is maxed out to a 95% chance of always landing the pink mist. Like every time. Seriously... every... time.
Kotaku's Patricia Hernandez stumbled upon this absolutely mental perk and got a few images along the way to highlight the madness.
With the glitchy perk at your disposal it doesn't matter the distance away an enemy maybe. You will always get a 95% chance of hitting your target.
And even if an enemy may be obscured by cover or if all other limbs have a 0% chance of damage, glitchy Killshot will always be on hand to turn you into a legitimate harbinger of death.
I don't want to give to much away regarding the adventure you'll have to embark on to get this utterly game altering perk, because the fun is in the journey.
Which is what I keep on telling myself when I get encumbered miles away from the nearest settlement, and have to sift through my itinerary with salt water in my eyes, shedding weapons like a cat does fur.
In other news: I cannot wait for console mods.
