Felicity Smoak is safe - for now...

WARNING!!! IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN LATEST OF ARROW: SEASON 4 - DO NOT READ!!! SPOILERS AHEAD!!!

For those of us caught up, we all know that Felicity Smoak was shot and fighting for her life because of it at the end of Dark Waters (Season 4 Episode 10). This has a lot of people asking questions.

I can tell you - she isn't dead because of this.

The clues are there.

At the end of the season four premiere, there is a time jump to Oliver Queen and Barry Allen at the side of a newly buried grave. Since then, there have been many asking the question, "Who's in the grave?"

But the timeline doesn't fit.

The time jump says that it is six months from the premiere episode. But in one of the scenes in Dark Waters, Felicity makes a statement giving when it takes place.

Felicity's realization

That's right. The night Oliver and Felicity returned to Star City, Oliver was going to propose to Felicity, same time as the premiere episode. And with Felicity saying this, it indicates that this is three months after the premiere. However, the grave scene said the time-jump was six months, not three.

All in all, she will survive.

Felicity Smoak will live through this tragedy, so we shouldn't be worried for now. We still don't know who will be in the grave, or why they were put there at all. The one thing we do know is that if it really is Felicity in the grave, then it won't be because of this shooting. After all, it doesn't take someone three months to die of a gunshot.
