It looks like this holiday season may have been a little too merry for former Nickelodeon star, Drake Bell who was arrested on Monday on suspicion of driving under the influence.
29-year-old Bell was pulled over by police in Glendale, California around 2am on Monday, after police had observed his car both speeding and swerving over the road. After pulling the actor over, officers noted that he smelled of alcohol and conducted a field sobriety test which Bell failed. The actor was then arrested, but later released on the same day.
Bell is most well known for starring in the mid-2000s Nickelodeon series Drake and Josh, as well as providing the voice for Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Ultimate Spider-Man TV series. He is currently preparing to go on a scheduled concert tour in Mexico at the beginning of 2016.
This is not the first time the former child star has made headlines in 2015. Back in June, Bell was criticized after tweeting that he would still call former Olympian and TV star Caitlyn Jenner by her previous name, Bruce Jenner. After a huge backlash from fans online, Bell deleted the tweet and issued an apology, however, he is yet to comment on his Monday arrest.
