After many years of smoking, singer Adele has revealed that she has finally kicked the dirty habit, claiming that if she hadn't, she probably would have died.
Speaking on December 18, the 'Hello' singer admitted:
"If I'd carried on smoking, I'd probably have died from a smoking-related illness, and I think that's really bad."
"If I was dying from lung cancer, I would have potentially given it to myself, and that wouldn't be something I'd be proud of."
Up until that point, Adele revealed that she had been smoking a whopping 25 cigarettes a day. In 2011, she was even forced to cancel show because she lost her voice.
Another factor is naturally her son, 3-year-old Angelo who she has with partner Simon Konecki:
“I absolutely loved it [smoking], but it’s not that f--king cool when I’m dying from a smoking-related illness and my kid is, like, devastated.”
Well done, Adele!
