We're still a few months away from seeing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, but that's not keeping the presses from rolling out rumors regarding the upcoming DC superhero film.

After the first full trailer for BvS was released during Comic-Con this summer, fans have been eager to find out more about how Batman's faithful sidekick Robin will play a part in the dark cinematic universe.

Which Robin was actually in the vandalized suit and whether or not he is still alive have been weighing heavily on everyone's minds after seeing the character's defaced costume in the trailer. Luckily for us, Kellvin Chavez at Latino Review has a scoop that will answer some of our burning questions.

For those who have been banking on seeing Robin appear in the upcoming Batman v Superman movie, you're in luck, sort of. According to Latino Review, the suit that appears in the BvS trailer does belong to a deceased Jason Todd, who was killed at the hand of the Joker in the 1988 comic book "Batman: A Death in the Family."

But that's not all! From Latino Review's report, their trusted source claims we may also hear a note on the original Robin in BvS:

Jason Todd is indeed the dead Robin in "Batman v Superman," and he is also the second Robin that Batman has worked with. What's more is that Dick Grayson, the first Robin, will get a shoutout in the movie!

So, there you have it! We might not be seeing Dick Grayson as Nightwing, Jason Todd alive, or Carrie Kelley as female Robin, as we had hoped, but if this rumor turns out to be true, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will still pay a small tribute to the Caped Crusader's right hand man somehow.

'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' will be released on March 25, 2016.
