While doing a Star Wars Marathon with my youngest brother, He and I pointed out something very interesting that was in Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones! Remember in the beginning of the movie when Padme’s ship gets blown up? Well one of her escorts, the one with an eye patch, looked very familiar… His name was Captain Greger Typho by the way. Here is a picture of him:

Let that sink in for a bit. Now, here’s a picture of Jango Fett:

Jango Fett... not to be confused with Django Fett!

We are told that the Clone Troopers are exact replicas of Jango Fett, but wait… something isn’t right… and I’ll tell you why. Do you remember the scene where Obi-Wan Kenobi finds the Clone Army? Well during that scene we are able to see the clones unmasked and they look like this:

Unmasked Cloned Armies

They look nothing like Jengo Fett! But they do look a lot like Captain Gregor Typho! Now why is that, I wonder? My theory is that Captain Typho is a Clone Trooper sent to spy on Padme and give coordinates of her whereabouts. I mean how else would Jengo Fett know where Padme was so that he could send the Changeling Zam to assassinate her? It makes perfect sense that the Clone Troopers were there from the beginning. It also works with the title Attack of the Clones, because we don’t see the Clones attack the good guys. They were used to Attack the droid armies. Normally with the word in “attack” in a movie title, it implies that the good guys are being attacked. The only good guy… er person who was being attacked first was Padme!

What do you think? Is this the Clone we’re looking for? Let me know in the comments below!
