The Librarians are a return to 90s television series with easily followed plot lines with rather outdated CGI. If you love the Librarian movies as much as I do then none of this should be a problem as Noah Wyle returns as Flynn Carsen and steals the show just as he did in the movies. New characters such as Jacob Stone (Christian Kane) a wisecracking, blue-collar All-American country boy with an IQ of 190 and Cassandra Cillian (Lindy Booth) a genius mathematician who uses mathematical hallucinations to solve puzzles bring a breath of fresh air to the series. Fans of the movies will be most pleased in seeing that Bob Newhart reprises his role as Judson, although his time on the show is rather limited, which is a shame. While The Librarians might not leave you on the edge of your seat wanting more, one can't help but enjoy the cast of characters and at times rather silly episodes that the show puts forth. If given the chance, The Librarians will not disappoint and is definitely worth the watch.
