Both known and forgotten horror films of the 20th Century

Finally! I have been waiting for someone to make a good movie about the evil Santa for the last couple of years. I'm a little sad that I didn't get to see this when it first came out, because this movie was awesome! I won't go into too much detail because it's been out for the last little bit, but the story follows a family who has become a bunch of Scrooge's during the Christmas season. After series of disagreements, the family encounters a fierce snowstorm, in which the entire neighbourhood becomes abandoned. Soon it becomes clear to the family, someone has been making a list, the family has been naughty, and Santa's shadow, Krampus, has come to town. There hasn't been an original Christmas horror film in the last couple of years, and this was truly a pleasant surprise. The movie was done in a present day setting, but some of story was done in a 1980's fashion, which is reminisce to the older slasher flicks that took place at Christmas. The special effects, and puppets used in the film had a great effect of both humor and creepiness. The only complaint that I have about the film was the mask of Krampus, it might have been better if they didn't show his actual face because it would have given him more of a mysterious aura about him. What made this film amazing was that it wasn't as scary as the trailer made it seem, which is a good thing because it is still a Christmas film and you still want to have an uplifting feeling at the end. The film was quite funny, and the ending of the movie was extremely clever. Excellent holiday horror film, and I can see this becoming a cult hit among my fellow horror movie fans!
