2015 has been a wild year for fans, geeks, and nerds. Being someone who lives in pop culture, I've experienced many reactions towards certain things and stuff and seen reactions from the not so lovely internet.

So before 2015 is taken away from us, lets appreciate some of the biggest moments in pop culture. Now this list is going to be full of things the internet couldn't handle because they either hated it or loved it. Enjoy.

The year of reboots

It will be a lie if someone told you there wasn't enough reboots this year. Your favorite childhood movies decided to return, but not in the best form. Movies like Terminator Genisys, Fantastic Four, didn't get a positive reaction from fans, but let's not forget Mad Max: Fury Road which had fans queuing up in the theatres.

When the internet met Caitlyn Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner wanted to come out and show the world who she truly is and she did soon. Her journey was explained on why she wanted to be women and she felt and as soon as Vanity Fair captured a shot on how Caitlyn looks like, the internet welcomed her with open arms but not everyone is a fan of her choice.

Pixar changing the game forever

You laughed, you cried, you loved it. Inside Out left many of us weeping and changed the standards of animation. Sorry Minion fans, but it's going to take more then yellow things running around to impress us. Pixar did it again and will continue doing so as they have a range of films to blow our minds with.

How the Bastard of Winterfell broke the internet

Spoilers, but everyone must of heard it by now. He may know nothing, but he had fans of the hit show Game of Thrones on their knees when he was killed. But with the help of theorists, fans have a slight hope that he will live and HBO gave some when they placed his face on the poster for season 6.

The dress that confused everyone

Don't try and pretend like you have no idea what this is. The famous dress that made everyone go for an eye check. It left everyone divided as some saw the dress in blue and black and others just saw white and gold. What colours did you see?

Marvel and DC blessing fans

Marvel and DC both announced a wide range of movies to come until 2020. And some of these tittles where Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Avengers: Infinity War, Deadpool, Wonder Women, Black Panther, do I need to go on? Don't forget to thank them when your wallets and purses are empty.

Cursed Child introduced a black Hermonie and J. K. Rowling loves it

Yes, people complained about Hermonie being a different race in Cursed Child, but does it really matter? Not everyone had a positive reaction towards this, but I can confirm from her tweet, J. K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books loves and is a fan of black Hermonie.

If J. K. Rowling is fan, don't question it.

Is Star Wars setting up a gay relationship

Poe and Finn. It was hard not to love this duo, but fans felt a romantic force between them in the galaxy and can this move forward to Star War's first gay relationship? If your unaware click here to read an article that goes more in depth of this relationship. If you haven't seen Star Wars: The Force Awakens, then go and do so and join the ship train.

The year when everyone was Jason Todd

How would I make this list without this? This will go down in Moviepilot history, as it lead to many people bashing the site. A fan theory suggested that Joker from Suicide Squad is Jason Todd not many agreed with this. Memes and jokes were created about fan theories, but instead of going on a rage we just laughed with them. Don't forget fan theories are supposed to be crazy!

Get ready to leave 2015 and move on to 2016. It's been a year for everyone, filled with theories and reboots. Let's see what 2016 holds for us! Have a happy new year and I'll see you next year!
