We might be all sitting on the edges of our seats waiting for Suicide Squad to be released in theaters, excited to check out Jared Leto as the unhinged Joker. But we are still obsessed with Heath Ledger's interpretation of the Joker in The Dark Knight, as it was such a terrifyingly awe-inspiring performance.

This is the scene that made it in The Dark Knight in which Batman saves Rachel:

This scene in particular left many wondering what happened to the Joker in Wayne's Penthouse after he dropped Rachel out of the window, but this page from the script shows us what exactly was supposed to happen in the film:

It just seems as if it didn't make the final cut. Even without this little tidbit, we know that the Joker would already be on his way, off to create more chaos with his shenanigans, in pure Joker fashion.
