What's up fellow movie lovers! 2015 is coming to an end, and soon we'll all be enjoying the warm embrace of the next year! 2016 is going to be packed with so many awesome movies to watch. But before we head into the new year with wide smiles, let's take a look back at 2015, and the glorious moments that made it spectacular with the 2015 Quick-fire Challenge!

The rules are pretty simple, just answer 5 fun questions about movies in 2015! I was nominated by Samuel James Harries, who also started the challenge, so make sure to check out his post!

And now, it's time to take the challenge!

1. Best Trailer of 2015:

I so wanted to say The Force Awakens right here. Star Wars is something that unites generations of people like no other movie—but the story of Rocky does a good job of that too!

I was introduced to Rocky and Star Wars at around the same time thanks showings on TV and the good old family heirloom that was the VHS. When I heard that both were making a comeback this year, I got pretty excited. Two classic franchises were coming back for my generation!

The trailers for both films got me pumped, but I didn't need a trailer to get psyched for Star Wars. However, the trailer for Creed got me excited for the one thing I'm usually never that excited for; spin-offs. The second that trailer started, and Michael B. Jordan showed that he was worthy of being Apollo Creed's son (and Rocky's legacy), I was ready! The Creed trailer is my trailer of the year because it got me more than psyched to see Rocky return to the big screen!

2. Your Favorite Movie Moment of 2015

Don't worry, no spoilers here- unless you've been avoiding the trailers until you see the movie. My favorite movie moment of 2015 was when Han Solo and Chewbacca showed up for the first time on screen in years!

Now, I wasn't born anywhere near the time the original trilogy came out, but thanks to the aforementioned TV and VHS combo, Han and Chewie quickly became my idols! Seeing them on screen for my generation, the generation before me, and the blossoming generation after mine to enjoy was just incredible to say the least!

Skip to about the 1:30 mark to hear Han Solo say the greatest line you could ever hope to hear, and you'll see why this moment is my favorite of 2015!

3. Your Favorite Character of 2015

Yes, Arlo from The Good Dinosaur is my favorite movie character of 2015! This was a hard decision, because there a lot of great characters this year. But for me, Arlo is the best of them simply because he's such a simple yet lovable character.

His story of conquering your fears is one that's been done countless times, but never in such a beautiful way like this. Arlo is a character you can easily get behind, one that's super relatable and impossible to hate!

If you haven't already, definitely go see The Good Dinosaur. It might not be my favorite movie of the year, but Arlo is definitely my favorite character!

4. Entertainment Person of the Year 2015

My entertainment person of the year is Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu! Innaritu is a director, and he's directed a number of awesome movies! Amores perros, 21 Grams and Birdman are all Oscar-worthy titles, but the thing that makes him my entertainment person of the year is that he directed The Revenant.

The Revenant is one of the most incredible films to come out this year! Innaritu filmed it in freezing weather, with natural lighting, and even had Leonardo DiCaprio (the star of the film) eat REAL raw bison liver! Needless to say, this film was a passion project of Innaritu's, and he put 110% into making it. That's why he's my person of the year!

5. What Was Your Favorite Article (Created By You) in 2015?

My favorite article I've written this year happens to also be related to Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu! In The Extremes Of Iñárritu: An In-Depth Look At The Mind Behind 'The Revenant', I took a look at the Inarritu's career and what he's done to push the boundaries of filmmaking.

It was a blast to write, and it was the first time I did anything like it! I took a look at his early films- explaining how he pushed the envelope- and ended with an in-depth look at The Revenant and went into making it.

It's an article I'm very proud of, so if you have the time, please give it a read!

BONUS Question: What Movie Are You Most Excited For In 2016

I'm looking forward to A LOT of movies next year, most of them superhero films, but the one I want to see the most is Deadpool! Based on my favorite anti-hero of the same name, Deadpool is a high-octane action/comedy full of swords, guts and chimichangas!

Fans have been waiting years for this movie to get made- and now, thanks to the combined efforts of Ryan Reynolds and 20th Century Fox, it's almost here! Come February, I'll be spending my Valentine's Day with Deadpool!
