While 2015 brought us films like "Mad Max: Fury Road", "Jurassic World", "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", "Avengers: Age of Ultron" it also gave us dogshit like "Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension" and "Sinister 2" so let's count down the top ten worst films of 2015.
10. The Good Dinosaur (November 25th, 2015)
The Good Dinosaur was another failure for Pixar in terms of reception and is probably one of the worst films they've ever made. The Good Dinosaur is an annoying "Ice Age"/"The Croods" rip off that has been in development hell for years. I already did a review of The Good Dinosaur so if you want to see me rant on the film go there.
9. The Visit (September 11th, 2015)
This film is so damn boring. The child actors are annoying, the humor is terrible, the scares are predictable and weak, and there's so many damn plot holes in this movie. Also the "plot twist" is barely even a twist as you figure out the damn twist by just seeing the trailer. I don't get why everyone is in love with this movie; it's so freakin bad.
8. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 (April 17th, 2015)
NOBODY WAS ASKING FOR A SECOND MALL COP MOVIE! This movie is literally just fat joke after fat joke. What's that? Another fat joke. The plot is predictable and Paul Blart is a terrible person in this film. He's a complete asshole to his daughter and actually pushes over an old woman with his segway and drives off. Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 is a disgusting pile of grinded up garbage that's so bad even Happy Madison studios probably realizes how bad it is.
7. Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (October 23th, 2015)
I called this back in June in my first non review blog that this film was going to suck ass. This film takes the already stupid Paranormal Activity storyline and basically screws around with it until the end product is nothing more then a confusing, TIME TRAVELING, ghost movie. Yes there is time traveling in a Paranormal Activity movie.
I give up.
6. Terminator Genisys (July 1st, 2015)
I never thought a Terminator film could be worse then "Terminator: Salvation" or could make the already kinda confusing Terminator timeline even more confusing. This film has terrible acting, mediocre effects and just idiotic casting for the most part. Like "The Good Dinosaur" I already reviewed this movie so if you want to read me ranting on how confusing this kinda sequel/reboot is go read it.
5. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip (December 18th, 2015)
Because the world needed a fourth shitfest starring three (or six) terribly CGI chipmunks that look more and more like human/chipmunks hybrids after each movie. The songs are annoying, their voices are annoying, the characters are annoying, there is LITERALLY nothing in this film that is worth sitting down watching this film. Also nice job releasing the film on the same date as "Star Wars". Idiots.
4. The Gallows (July 10th, 2015)
It's "Paranormal Activity" in a school with the worst stereotypical high schoolers you could think of. Basically four students go into a school and a ghost named Charlie tries to kill the four of them by using ghost nooses. This film is so damn predictable until the very end where a random twist happens that defies logic and I'm still pissed off about because it makes no damn sense.
3. Minions (July 10th, 2015)
Imagine the most annoying thing in the world and times that by ten. There, you have the "Minions". An idiotic piece of garbage that annoys the crap out of me and I swear the Minions are trying to take over the world, one twinkie, notebook, poster, yo-yo, plushie, cup at a time. Like "The Good Dinosaur" and "Terminator" I've already reviewed this so if you wanna see me rant more on this film go read the review.
2. Sinister 2 (August 21, 2015)
I hate this movie. No seriously, this movie is a disgusting pile of miserable shit. This movie is a terrible abomination of film and not scary in the slightest. I've already reviewed it so go read the review.
1. The Fantastic Four (August 7th, 2015)
Never in my life did I think that a film would make me say "Hey, the old Fantastic Four films were pretty good compared to this." This film is the worst superhero movie of all time with zero redeeming qualities. Nothing. At. All. The acting, effects, story, characters, and the tone are just terrible. This film takes a kinda goofy superhero team and tries to make a "Dark Knight" outta them. It's a terrible idea and they still went ahead with it.
Thanks for reading guys, next time I'll be reviewing "The Hateful Eight" which will be followed up with a blog listing the best films of 2015. Until next time.
