Over the weekend, Chris Brown became embroiled in a battery investigation at a Las Vegas hotel. A woman named Liziane Gutierrez (who requested that TMZ make her identity known) claims the singer hit her in the face after she took a picture of him. She ended up calling the police after Brown allegedly started yelling before taking her phone and punching her in her right eye.
The official report is filed under misdemeanor theft (for the reportedly stolen cell phone) and the battery. Brown's reps were quick to comment that the allegations are "undeniably untrue," but they didn't stop there.
Chris Brown's rep went on a tweeting spree in response to the accusations
In a statement to The FADER, a representative for Brown claims that Guiterrez was escorted out of the party for "being disruptive and out of control" before doubling down on the assertion that these allegations are false.
Chris Brown responded himself in a video that has since been taken down
Though this video was removed from his personal Instagram, it survives on other accounts.
