I know, I know, Oscar nominations aren't out yet, but I am sure...no...we all are sure, that Leonardo DiCaprio will be nominated for 'The Revenant' (Directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu). And we all know too, that Leo had some bad luck, when it came to the Academy Awards.
In 2014, I thought, that the time came to give this talented man his Oscar, but they didn't: Matthew McConaughey won...
But this year, The Academy has no other choice than DiCaprio. He gave his best (like before), but 'filming The Revenant brought acting to another level', DiCaprio said.
Back in 2014, there was a hype about his Oscar-loosing: You all know #PoorLeo.
Many people said, that Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the greatest actors of our time and that his performance in 'The Wolf of Wall Street' (Directed by Martin Scorsese) was unbelievable (btw it's true). Some people didn't understand The Academy's decision. I admit McConaughey's performance in 'Dallas Buyers Club' (Directed by Jean-Marc Vallée) was also great, but DiCaprio works for that really long time in this business, giving every time his best.
I really hope that it works this year and that The Academy makes a good decision.
Another winner isn't possible this year. Do you agree?
