The first image of Lily-Rose Depp alongside Natalie Portman in her debut leading role has been released and the 16-year-old looks every inch the professional in the atmospheric shot.
Depp will be sinking her teeth into her meatiest role yet in Rebecca Zlotowski's Planetarium which follows the story of two sisters who possess the supernatural ability to communicate with spirits.
As you can see from in the image below, the movie is set in the '30s, which gives Zlotowski the perfect arena to show off her knack for on point visuals and styling.
While I'm intrigued with the premise of the movie, I'm even more impressed with the on-point casting. How much do these two look like they could be sisters?!
For those of you who aren't familiar with Zlotowski's work, the 35-year-old French director scooped the François Chalais Award at the Cannes Film Festival for her second offering, Grand Central, and was noted as a talent to watch by panelists.
Check out her distinctive visual style in the trailer for Belle Épine (Zlotowski's debut movie which won the Louis Delluc Prize for Best First Film) below:
Although this will be Lily-Rose Depp's first leading role, the model has also had some minor roles in the Kevin Smith movies Tusk and Yoga Hosers. Check out one of her blink and you missed it scenes below!
Although we don't really have much to gauge Depp's acting ability on just yet, Zlotowski is well-known for her keen eye for fresh talent and I'm pretty confident she is going to be positively bewitching in the role.
