Fans everywhere are still gushing about the latest entry into the Star Wars franchise, so much so that the film just recently passed James Cameron's 2009 blockbuster Avatar to become the highest-grossing movie in North America. While there has been minor criticism from fans for the story being a rehashing of A New Hope, we were reintroduced to beloved characters, as well as introduced to new ones, including the mysterious Supreme Leader Snoke.
Now, not much is known yet about Snoke, only that he is Kylo Ren's Dark Side master and teacher, and there have been many theories floating around as to who he is and where he comes from. One fan, however, has found a striking resemblance between Snoke and a character from the past.
Yep, The Geekbox co-host Ryan Higgins put this photo of original trilogy Darth Vader and Supreme Leader Snoke together, and the resemblance between the two is uncanny. Now, Higgins has since added that he's filing this under "purposely similar to the original to invoke the feels" rather than "character hiding in plain sight," but it would still be a good twist to find out that Vader somehow survived dying and his body being burnt. Or maybe, in an even trickier twist, it turns out Snoke is the ghost of Vader the whole time!
