The star or one of my favorite shows, and if you clicked on this, then it may be one of yours too. But there is a time when all things have to come to a end, and what else is a better time then when your contract runs out.

The main star of this show is Stephen Amell, and he might not be in this show for as long as we think. Stephen's contract runs out in 2019. Now before you say that is a long time and everything, you have to think. Arrow premiered on October 10, 2012. This was four years ago. Now in 2016, we will have only three years of Arrow remaining.

Amell is 34 years old. And by the time that his contract is over, he will be about 37 or 38. That's pretty old to still be running around as the Green Arrow. If you think pessimistically, then you see that we are already more than half way through the show. But if you look to the good side, then you see that there is at least three more seasons. And who is to say that he wont renew.

"Facebook... I keep reading that I'm leaving Arrow. I'm not," Amell assured. "I have a contract that runs through 2019. At least. Now... That doesn't mean Arrow will run that long, but if it does... I'll be here." Thanks to Comicbook.com for this quote. This shows that no matter what happens, he will stay with Arrow. So you see that he wants to and likes doing the part of Arrow, but a lot can happen in these three years.

Personally, I think that Stephen has entertained us for a long time, and it would suck to lose him. But if he wants to leave, then we should not try to stop him. This is my favorite show, but I have a lot of respect for Amell, and I know he will make the smartest decision. But at least for now, it doesn't seem like the Green Arrow will be run out of Star city just yet.
