As many readers of Marvel know, there have been some really unconventional team-up's in the past decades of comicdom , like Spider-Man, and Werewolf by Night, or Black Widow and the Thing. This is a great opportunity for the cinematic incarnations to thrive.
Marvel Team-Up was a comic that broke all barriers it was nothing to see Spidey and Daredevil, The Hulk and Doctor Strange, or Captain America and the Falcon, ( which MCU has brilliantly capitalized on) battle an endless number of foes.
20th Century Fox brings "Deadpool" to the big screen, and not a moment too soon. The merck with the mouth will have more than chimichangas to contend with, as an old friend from the X-Men, teams up in the film as well.
Piotr Nikolaievitch Rasputin / AKA / Colossus, along with Negasonic Teenage Warhead, help Wade Wilson destroy some bad guys.
This is a true Marvel Team-Up . First the CGI Colossus is closer to the look found in the comic. and thank God, he's Russian. (stick to the canon) The previous incarnation with Daniel Cudmore wasn't beefie enough, Colossus was, well, colossal. Bringing two of Marvels baddest good guys together should be impressive, and it's a relief to know they've not sown Wade Wilson's mouth shut, or there wouldn't be a Deadpool at all.
Quietly monopolizing on an established parameter of the Marvel Team-up, Marvel stands to make a fortune, because buddy films always work, I know this, because on February 11th I will be shoving $$ into a window for the first available seat.
