  • Bridge of Spies
  • Carol
  • The Revenant

The Revenant seems to be a fan favorite to take the title and its a personal favorite of mine with an amazing cast.

  • 45 Years
  • Amy
  • Brooklyn
  • The Danish Girl
  • Ex Machina
  • The Lobster

The Danish girl being my favorite movie here, starring an amazing cast with a story that is sure to captivate you throughout.

  • The Big Short
  • Brooklyn
  • Carol
  • Room
  • Steve Jobs
Fassbender as Steve Jobs
Fassbender as Steve Jobs

Steve jobs was one of those movies that, whilst generated a lot of hype, did very poorly in cinema and therefore it doesn't seem to likely for it too take first place in this category. What do you think will?

A movies go this category is filled with great ones that have all done really well this year. An instant Disney classic and a sci-fi wonder top my list however with such a great list of movies its hard to say which might take the top.

  • Bridge of Spies
  • Ex Machina
  • The Hateful Eight
  • Inside Out
  • Spotlight

  • Bryan Cranston – Trumbo
  • Matt Damon – The Martian
  • Leonardo DiCaprio – The Revenant
  • Michael Fassbender – Steve Jobs
  • Eddie Redmayne – The Danish Girl

Every guy on this list deserves a bafta, but I think we all know who should win this one, its not an oscar, but it might make him happy!

I have to admit that I am underwhelmed with this years nominations but after seeing Maggie Smith, in 'The Lady in the Van', I can honestly say that she deserves to take the award!

  • Cate Blanchett – Carol
  • Brie Larson – Room
  • Saoirse Ronan – Brooklyn
  • Maggie Smith – The Lady in the Van
  • Alicia Vikander – The Danish Girl

  • Christian Bale – The Big Short
  • Benicio del Toro – Sicario
  • Idris Elba – Beasts of No Nation
  • Mark Ruffalo – Spotlight
  • Mark Rylance – Bridge of Spies

  • Jennifer Jason Leigh – The Hateful Eight
  • Rooney Mara – Carol
  • Alicia Vikander – Ex Machina
  • Julie Walters – Brooklyn
  • Kate Winslet – Steve Jobs

With such amazing movies coming from all these amazing directors, I really cannot decide who I would love to see win this one, so, who would you love too to the award and why? Tell me on the comments below and remember to follow for more movie, gaming and T.V news daily!

  • Adam McKay - The Big Short
  • Steven Spielberg - Bridge of Spies
  • Todd Haynes - Carol
  • Ridley Scott - The Martian
  • Alejandro G. Iñárritu - The Revenant

And if you think they missed out on some of the biggest movies of 2015 you would be right. With absolutely no mention of Specter and Star Wars only featuring in a small category, you might want to take everything with a pinch of salt before declaring them the 'best movies and actors' of 2015
