(Warning - the following contains potential SPOILERS for DC's upcoming Suicide Squad. Proceed with whatever level of caution your innate sense of SPOILER-aversion suggests is prudent...)
Now, Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens may still be tearing up box offices foreign and domestic, but that doesn't mean that the rise of a brand new set of contenders isn't very much nigh. After all, 2016 looks set to be a year filled to bursting with major blockbusters of all shapes and sizes — including the first full, pre-planned steps of the DC Cinematic Universe. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will hit our screens first (in March), but for many fans, the real test of Warner Bros. geek credentials is going to come in August, with the release of Suicide Squad. Which is... still a really long way away.

Which, on the surface, seems to be a pleasantly awesome-looking glimpse at some of the 'Squad's key members in action, complete with the fringe benefit of an entertainingly befuddled Captain Boomerang (bottom right).
Could there be something more to the image, though? Indeed...
Does That There Image Give Away a Major Plot Point?
Could that image — with its six 'Squad members looking ragged and battle-worn — actually reveal something pretty darned huge about the movie?
Like, for instance, that those six 'Squad-ers are going to be the only ones to have survived come the climactic battle that appears to have befallen them?
Or, perhaps, that an adventure featuring those six takes place early in the movie, before their number is added to by the other major players we've been teased with thus far?
It's tough to know for sure — especially since any speculation is largely based on how traumatized Captain Boomerang looks — but that isn't likely to quell the speculation.
The big question now?
What do you think?
