1. Whitney Frost
If you're like me, you're counting down until Agent Carter Season 2 hits the airwaves on January 19th! I'm really looking forward to the new Big Bad, Whitney Frost. From what I've read, she was this great Silver Screen Movie Star / Genius. Since nobody would expect a famous woman (or even just a woman) in 1946 as being a criminal mastermind, she would go completely unnoticed. She's also married to a politician, so she's probably the brains behind that operation. I took the original cast picture from Marvel and turned it black and white, made it look post-WWII retro.
Super excited for this one. It's been rumored that we get our first look at the new Spider-man costume on January 15! The powers that be also released a picture of this hoodie!
I wonder if this is what Spider-man is going to be wearing, it looks like something a 15-year-old can put together in his spare time. Unfortunately, it's probably just a representation of the costume Spidey will be wearing in the movie....
3. Cate Blanchett
There have been rumors that Cate Blanchett will be playing the villain in the upcoming Thor Ragnarok. This Hobbit poster would be perfect if you put a Thor logo on it, really. If she is playing an Asgardian goddess, imagine how frickin' cool it would be to hear her say this:
In place of the Dark Lord you will set up a Queen. And I shall not be dark, but beautiful and terrible as the Morning and the Night! Fair as the Sea and the Sun and the Snow upon the Mountain! Dreadful as the Storm and the Lightning! Stronger than the foundations of the earth. All shall love me and despair!
4. War Machine's war hammer
Hot Toys, as usual, blowing us out of the water. Significant in this picture is that thingee he has on his shoulder, some kind of shotgun/axe/blunt-force instrument combination. Perhaps instead of Captain America now, Rhodes is channeling the absent Thor (and his hammer).
Reminds you of a certain Agent of SHIELD, doesn't it? I remember when people were trying to figure out who Mack and Bobbi were working for...wasn't Tony Stark on the list?
I remember hearing about Redwing being some kind of drone, and I became really excited. It's probably some kind of Stark Tech, and I can't wait....
6. Ant-Man on an arrow
Right out of the comics....
7. Lady Sif back on SHIELD
I am loving Jaimie Alexander's new show Blindspot, but I do hope she comes back on SHIELD for her annual Lady Sif appearance!
8. Marvel's Most Wanted pilot
Marvel and ABC have stated that they have ordered a pilot for Mockingbird's and Hunter's Marvel's Most Wanted. Obviously a SHIELD spin-off, but it will probably be awesome. Will it be about them going after a list of SHIELD's top 10 most wanted bad guys? Dudes who escaped from the FRIDGE, or maybe ex-HYDRA members?
9. Young Avengers
I know, I know. Young Avengers are still years away. But I had this idea and wanted to get it on Moviepilot.
Harley invents his own Iron Man suit based on his experience with the real Iron Man, Tony Stark. Something stealthy with retro-reflective panels.
Cassie Lang, after seeing her father enbiggen himself in her room after the battle with Yellowjacket, uses the Pym technology to make herself into a superhero.
He's coming. I hope. Jessica Jones specifically went to Hammond Labs in a bit of detective work, and guess where Speedball came from? Yo-yo Rodriguez is scheduled to be part of the new season of SHIELD in Daisy's Secret Warriors, why not let Fran Kranz fulfill his Twitter destiny and become Speedball, Robbie Baldwin? Even if it's fake....
And for the record, it was Speedball who help to start the comics' Civil War....

12. The Captain America Radio Show
Back to Agent Carter again, the show creators said that they were considering having a Captain America radio show on iTunes, so I'm really hoping they'll fulfill this promise before the premier next week....
