I have a comic book coming out soon. I also tweet a lot about comics @KurtArthur12.

Marc Guggenheim, an Executive Producer/Creator on the upcoming CW show Legends of Tomorrow recently said this to this Variety...

“Ever since we decided that ‘Legends’ would involve time travel, we were eager to do a story set in the Old West. But if you’re going to do a story set in the DC Universe version of the Old West, you simply MUST include Jonah Hex in it. We’re thrilled about bringing another well known, beloved DC character to television.”

After the 2010's abhorrent Jonah Hex, it makes sense to bring the character to television. This is making me realize how balanced all of these characters need to be during an hour of television (this show doesn't have George R.R. Martin's source material as guidance). Still, I am very excited to see any new editions to the Arrow/Flash universe.

As with any new character announcement - who is going to play the ruffian known as Jonah Hex? You must remember this is on the CW, even though as of late they have been acquiring top-tier talent! Don't get angry, but the first person that comes to my mind is Ian Somerhalder.

I would love to see Ian portray the cowboy! For whatever reason, I also think Damon Salvatore could make the character even more interesting.

'Legends of Tomorrow' premieres January 21, on the CW!
