It's no secret that Rob Himebaugh, the Writer and Director of Eaglewalk, is a fan of everything horror. This film sets the worldwide folklore of Bigfoot, Yeti, Sasquatch, Red Eyes.... whatever you may call it where you are from and drops him right into the 1981 world of Camp Eaglewalk.
Eaglewalk samples from that other film that takes place at a summer camp in 1979 with a ravenous beast who's after camp counselors on or around a certain Friday the 13th. Everything seams into a perfect homage that is complemented with wonderful direction and eye-popping cinematography. Enough to have Victor Miller, the writer of the original Friday the 13th movie express his excitement about the film.
Keep an eye on these people. ~ Victor Miller, Writer of Friday the 13th (1980)
