A few SPOILERS for 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' lie ahead. The article is satirical, but I'll definitely be including plot points from 'The Force Awakens' and other 'Star Wars' movies.
The following argument is less of a theory and more a rant centered around Anakin Skywalker and why he must have been having a pretty hard time during the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Anakin Skywalker is an interesting character in many different ways: born to a virgin mother (a likely story), Anakin was a slave who began rising through the ranks of the Jedi Order, labelled the 'Chosen One', destined to bring balance to the force.
He did achieve this of course, but through rather ironic means. Anakin's betrayal of the Jedi at a key moment contributed to their [almost complete] extermination. Many years later he betrayed the the Sith Lord Sidious, [possibly] wiping out the last Sith. You have to admire Anakin – bringing balance to the force in a stylish and very literal fashion.
This brings me to my point. Prior to his death... although admittedly only a few minutes prior... Anakin Skywalker did a single good deed and returned to the Light. What a guy!
So, imagine how pissed off our A.D. Skywalker must have been at all the Dark Side antics his grandson, Ben "Kylo Ren" Solo, committed in his name! (Credit to Imgur for the following image.)
Side-stepping the crippling argument that Anakin [indirectly] "killed" Padmé, before which he personally wiped out the Jedi stationed at the temple on Coruscant, giving Darth Sidious the opportunity to drop all pretense and "execute order 66." Yes... ignoring this point: Anakin went all Light Side of the Force on us, only for little Ben "Kylo" Solo to continue what his grandfather started.
We're led to believe that Kylo is continuing the annihilation of the Jedi, which is a reasonable assumption, despite some contradictory theories.
But try to empathize with poor Anakin 'Darth Vader' Skywalker, who has barely regained a touch of credibility before his descendant starts killing in his name. Seriously, these Skywalker boys can't catch a break!
So in conclusion: when you watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens, remember that somewhere in the galaxy there's a spectral Anakin who's none too pleased about his fanboy descendant.
